The Natural Place for Birthday Fun!
Are you having a birthday soon? Celebrate it with us and a few Wetlands critters!!
We offer two hour birthday parties for children ages 4-12. While celebrating your special day at the Wetlands Institute, we offer a 45 minute program from one of our educators. Our programs to choose from include feeding time in the aquarium, a trail hike and scavenger hunt, or an up close encounter with one of the following creatures: sea stars and urchins, shells, turtles, crabs, fish, or horseshoe crabs. Featured Programs
1. Feeding Time: Afternoon parties can enjoy our feeding program. Your guests can help with feeding our crabs, fish and turtles! Get up close with the animals and find out the secrets of how we take care of them. Approximately 45 minutes.
2. Creature Features: Meet, visit and learn about your favorite aquarium animals. Your guests can learn about diamondback terrapins, horseshoe crabs, sea stars and crabs of all kinds in this entertaining hands-on program. Approximately 45 minutes.
3. Trail Hike and Scavenger Hunt: Go along with a naturalist guide on a hunt along the trail for all sorts of plants, animals and surprises. Great for kids who love to be outside exploring. Approximately 45 minutes.
