2023 Green Eggs and Sand Workshop Registration

June 3 – 4, 2023

Green Eggs and Sand is a curriculum (developed by Maryland DNR, Delaware Fish & Wildlife and New Jersey Fish & Wildlife) centered around the horseshoe crab for formal and non-formal educators to use in the classroom, nature centers, or camp activities. This workshop covers the biology of the horseshoe crab, their relationship to shorebirds, their importance to humans, and how the species is managed. Participants also get to run through several of the activities found in the Green Eggs and Sand curriculum, as well as visit a beach during peak horseshoe crab spawning.

Workshop session will take place at The Wetlands Institute, 1075 Stone Harbor Blvd., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. The beach trip will be to a Delaware Bay Beach.

Registration fee is $50.00 and includes meals and workshop materials.
