The Wetlands Institute is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) educational and research facility focused on salt marsh and coastal ecosystem preservation. The Institute’s mission is to promote appreciation, understanding and stewardship of wetlands and coastal ecosystems through programs in research, education and conservation. From its inception, the Wetlands Institute has pioneered a number of research, education and conservation programs about wetlands and coastal ecosystems, and worked with numerous regional, national and international organizations to foster stewardship of these resources worldwide.

The Wetlands Institute is currently seeking applicants for the following position:
Director of Development
The Director of Development will support the Executive Director, Board, and Development Committee in achieving annual and long-term fundraising and philanthropic goals, and will be responsible for all aspects of an expanding development program. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of raising and growing unrestricted giving and of cultivating major gifts. Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years relevant experience preferred.
This is a full-time exempt position that offers health and dental benefits, retirement plan with employer contributions, paid time off, paid holidays and competitive salary commensurate with experience. Position may involve occasional travel. Reports to Executive Director.
